Time After Time

25. Portuguese Soul is now fully immersed in adulthood, which carries weight, responsibility, legacy and history. Through 25 issues, Portuguese Soul has grown, transformed and spread its wings. It speaks for itself and gives a voice to those who carry the name of Portugal beyond its borders. It tells stories. The stories that need to be told and those that are yet to be born.

It introduces new faces and shows established ones in unexpected ways. Just as they are. Or as we might expect them to be. Albano Jerónimo, Bruno Nogueira, Carolina Amaral, Catarina Furtado, Daniela Melchior, Daniela Ruah, Filomena Cautela, Gisela João, Joana Ribeiro, Lúcia Moniz, Luís Borges, Marcelino Sambé, Margarida Corceiro, Miguel Nunes, Nuno Lopes. These are names that above all carry talent within themselves.

And what could be better than offering what we do well, what we are best at? For 25 issues, which by a quick calculation adds up to 13 years, we have always tried to do more, to do better, look for new faces, new stories, new souls that add more to this narrative of a country and an industry that we are building. And what could be better than, after 25 issues, remembering some of the images that are a part of our story? This is what you’ll find as you leaf through this issue: memories of a path that has been built step-by-step.
