Walking into our grandparents’ house is like stepping through a magical portal to the past. A living museum of memories that takes us back to what may have been the most innocent, joyful, and carefree years of our lives. The objects that hold memories, the bed as a symbol of protection, the kitchen filled with affection, the hallways and gardens of childhood mischief. Returning to our grandparents’ house is returning to a place of permanent love and memories of a past that will never come back, but that lives on through longing and nostalgia.
