Who is C’Marie? She is Constança Bettencourt, a Portuguese artist whose creative expression spans multiple media and techniques, ranging from drawing and sculpture to mural painting, digital illustration, and tattooing. Her practice is a journey through lines, forms, and textures, making the canvas feel like a second home. Every piece reflects her curiosity and her commitment to exploring the boundaries of visual storytelling.
C’Marie expresses herself through faces, expressions, and gestures, carefully preserving the initial features of her graphic constructions and the exploratory nature of her lines. Her work reveals a sensitivity to human emotion, a fascination with identity, and a desire to capture fleeting moments in a way that feels both intimate and universal.
Whenever possible, she collaborates with communities, believing that involving others in the creative process democratizes art and enriches the final outcome.
